Test run steps of chipper

Before using any kind of equipment, we need to do its test run, and chipper is no exception. The main purpose of the test run is to see the operation of the equipment, timely detection of problems, timely repair. Here, let us understand together the chipper test run steps.

1, before the chipper test run, you need to check whether there is debris in the equipment crushing chamber, whether the assembly between the parts meet the requirements, whether the lubrication work in place.

2, confirm the start of the motor, confirm the motor steering, confirm the performance of the chipper after two hours of idle speed and bearing temperature rise.

3、Install the v-belt, adjust its tension and re-check the parallelism between the two pulleys.

4、After the chipper test run, the bearings, crushing chamber, motor and other parts of the equipment should be in check, and the load test run should be conducted after no abnormalities.

5, point drive, check the normal operation of the components, and empty test run after four hours.

Chipper, also known as wood slicer, belongs to one of the wood processing series equipment. It is widely used in the preparation section of the production process of textile, paper, pulp, artificial board and other industries. The main cutting raw materials of this machine are peeled small diameter wood, bamboo, veneer wood and harvested secondary fuel wood edges. However, for coarse, fine, short, thin and irregular raw materials, there is the function of cutting evenly or just cutting raw materials on the original basis, and for bamboo pieces with wall thickness less than 5 mm, there is the function of cutting in layers. At this time, the re-crusher can also be used to re-crush the oversized wood chips to achieve the required size.

The chipper is mainly composed of the machine base, feeding port, knife plate, housing, chipping blade and electric control. The machine can be adjusted to produce wood chips of different specifications and thicknesses according to the needs of the chipping blade. The wood is fed from the inlet of the chipper, and when the wood comes into contact with the chipping blade, it is chipped with the high-speed rotation of the chipping blade, and the chipped wood is sent out in the chipping chamber by the high-speed steam flow generated by the wind blade on the chipping blade.

As mentioned above, it is necessary to clean the chipper before commissioning. Before commissioning, it is necessary to check whether the parts to be checked are normal. During commissioning, the operation of the bearings should be observed. Through commissioning, we can generally have a certain understanding of the equipment.
