  When we install the integrated log splitter for the first time, wiring is a very important part, because the integrated log splitter generally only has outgoing cables when it leaves the factory, and users need to connect additional cables when installing them.   1. Strip the copper core of the cable on the integrated log splitter to a length of about 30-35mm, and wipe the copper wire with an emery cloth to make it shiny. Similarly, strip the copper wire of the external three-core cable to 30-35mm, and wipe it with an emery cloth.

  2. Connect the three-core cable with the copper wire part of the external cable. Then tie it tightly with a thin copper wire. Cut off the remaining part and press it flat with scissors to prevent hand sticking.

  3. Solder the three-wire ends with solder respectively, and the surface of the welding head is required to be smooth and free of burrs and false welding. If it is not welded firmly or is not smooth, it should be re-soldered. until the requirement is met.

  4. When wrapping with polyester insulating tape, be sure to press half of the first circle. (Semi-stacked bandaging method) Bandage 8-12 layers, after wrapping. Wrap two more layers of plastic tape for strength.

  5. Wrap the three wires together with plastic tape, and wrap them in two layers. The first layer is more than 50mm above the end of the insulation layer of each wire. The second layer is 50mm beyond the end of the first layer.

  6. After bandaging, take a pot of cold water and soak the bandaged wire ends in the water safely. After 12 hours, use a 500V megohmmeter to measure the insulation, which should not be lower than 50 megohms, otherwise, it should be re-wrap until it meets the requirements.

  7. The ground wire of the integrated log splitter must also be wrapped according to the requirements of the submersible cable wiring process.

  After connecting the line, keep shaking the insulation resistance while going down to observe its changes to prevent the cable insulation from being broken by the wall of the well. If it is found that the insulation level drops rapidly below 0.5 megohms, the unit should be lifted to check the cause.
