How To Use Log Splitter Safely

1. Before connecting the log splitter to the power supply, first check whether the grounding wire is intact. If the machine is not grounded, it is strictly forbidden to start the machine and connect the power supply.

　　2. Never touch the electrical cabinet when the power is on or in operation. The console includes the components in the console. If an electric shock occurs, it will be extremely dangerous.

　　3. Do not touch or operate the switch button with wet hands. We all know that it is easier to get an electric shock if there is water.

　　4. If you want to check wires or replace electrical components, be sure to cut off the power first to avoid electric shock and injury.

　　5. If the machine needs to replace components or repair equipment, the maintenance personnel must have the corresponding operating qualifications to avoid accidents.

　　6. When repairing the machine, the log splitter mechanics should ensure that the equipment is in a shutdown state, the power supply is cut off, and a warning sign is hung to avoid casualties caused by the sudden operation of the machine.

　　7. Do not touch the rotating part of the machine with your hands or other objects at any time, because touching the rotating part will cause direct damage to people and machines.

　　8. The workshop where the machine is placed must be ventilated and well-lit. Do not store materials and products in the workshop to make the operation channels safe and unobstructed. Clean the workshop frequently. Smoking and fire are prohibited in the workshop to prevent dust explosions.

　　9. Before work, check whether the waterproof and fire-fighting facilities are complete and effective.

　　10. It is strictly forbidden for children to approach the pulverizer equipment because the machine can directly cause disability or even death to children.

　　11. After the log splitter runs every 12 hours, add the special grease for the log splitter roller bearing to the log splitter roller bearing.

　　12. If you need to turn the pressure roller by hand, you must cut off the power first. If the machine is in operation, it is strictly forbidden to turn it by hand or touch it.

　　13. If it is a person who does not know him or herself, no matter whether the machine is turned on or not, repair and maintenance are not allowed.

　　14. The gap between the machine pressure roller and the flat mold should not be less than 0.1 mm. If the gap is too small, the pressure roller and the flat mold will directly touch, which will cause excessive wear and even directly cause equipment damage.

　　15. When the log splitter temperature is lower than 10 degrees, the lubricating oil of the log splitter will freeze. When using the machine, the log splitter needs to be heated to 10 degrees before turning on the machine and let the machine run on its own for 20 minutes before it starts to work. Otherwise, the machine is easy cause damage.
